Flamenca, mujer, what else? Aurora Gaviño!

Me he vestido de flamenca por primera vez, y tengo que contaros que me he sentido muy especial, extremadamente femenina y sobre todo muy poderosa!! Un traje de flamenca te hace sentirte guapa! Siempre había soñado este momento, de verme vestida así. En cierta manera también por lo que simboliza, empezar a sentir mía esta ciudad, vivir su fiestas, fundirme con el ambiente y verme pasear por el Real significa mucho para mi, hemos luchado para que llegara este momento, y ahora esta aquí.
Lo que tengo claro es que en esto, no me la pienso jugar y no quiero un vestido cualquiera. Desde que empecé a documentarme e investigar en este mundo lo tuve claro, mi vestido sería de Aurora Gaviño.

Sus diseños estan enfocados a una mujer moderna y actual que sigue la moda y las tendencias. Llaman especialmente la atención sus patrones, que se adaptan a la perfeción realzando la silueta femenina, sus excelentes tejidos y cortes son el motivo. Juega con atrevidas mezclas de colores, que no dejan indiferente a nadie. El traje de gitana, es un traje regional y como tal clásico, pero es que hoy en día se sigue utilizando y actualizando, al igual que la moda de calle, por lo cual van cambiando las tendencias temporada tras temporada. Esta Claro que Aurora Gaviño es un referente en la moda flamenca, es una directriz a seguir, esta diseñadora tiene la capacidad de enamorar e impactar.

I got dressed as a flamenco dancer for the first time, and I must recognize I felt very special, extremely femenine and mainly very powerful!! A flamenco dress makes you feel pretty! I had always dreamt about this moment, seeing myself dressed like that. Also for what it means, in a way, starting to feel this city as mine, enjoying their celebrations, melting with the ambient and walking around the Real means a lot to me, we fought hard to make this moment become a reality, and now it's here.There is something clear to me, I won't mess with it, I don't want "any" dress. Since I started documenting and researching about this world I saw it clear: my dress would be designed by Aurora Gaviño.

Her designs are focused on modern and actual women, who pay attention to fashion and tendencies. I got impressed by her patterns, that fit perfectly to highlight the female shape, her excellent textiles and cuts are the meaning. She plays with dare colour mixes, leaving no one indifferent. The flamenco dress is a regional and therefore classical one, but it still gets up to date nowadays, and is still in use, just like the pret a porter, and so tendances change from season to season. Aurora Gaviño is clearly a reference in flamenco dressing fashion, she is the one to follow, and has the ability to win our love and impact us.

A spring touch

La primavera esta a la vuelta de la esquina, y yo con estos pelos!! jeje Aquí os enseño un look básico y atemporal, jeans + blazer azul marino, pero le he querido poner una nota 'spring' con este collar de jade y orquídeas. Esta pieza pienso que es perfecta para la ocasión, porque junta dos fuertes tendencias, las flores que veremos estampadas en camisetas y vestidos...eso sí mientras más grandes mejor! Por otro lado uno de los colores más fuertes esta temporada, el jade!!! I love jade!!! ¿Y tú?

Spring is just around the corner, and here I am a mess! Hahaha I would like to share with you a basic and timeless outfit, jeans + dark blue blazer. I have wanted to add a Spring touch with this jade & orchids necklace. I think it’s perfect on this occasion because it puts together flowers we will see printed (the biggest, the best) in t-shirts and dresses with one of the most favorite colors for this season, jade!!! I love jade!!! And you?

De dos en dos...

Tengo algunas fotos que no salen a la luz y prendas que se me pasa enseñaros, como esta camiseta de Asos. Ya sabeis que me gusta mucho el gris "chandelero" muy "T by Alexander Wang" me encanta! Y de paso os enseño este foulard que compré en Zara, aunque estamos empachadas de rayas me pareció muy ponible. ¿Os habeis comprado muchas cosas ya de la nueva temporada?

I have some pictures and many clothes hidden in my closet that never come to light or simply i forget to show you, for example this t-shirt by Asos. You know I love grey colour, as Alexander Wang likes to use in his designs for "T by Alexander Wang" it is my passion. By the way I show you this "foulard" i bought in Zara, though we are extremely tired of stripes i know it, but it seems to me very wearable. Have you already get lots of clothes for this new season?

La revista Harper's Bazaar llega al mercado editorial español y como muchas de vosotras ¡Yo también la estaba esperando! Aunque sólo lleva unos días en nuestras vidas, ya sé que se quedará conmigo mucho tiempo. De hecho, ya tiene un hueco en mi estantería donde pienso coleccionarla. Llega para quedarse y en el momento justo, en la semana de la moda CMFW. Melany, la directora de la revista, nos cuenta que va dirigida a una mujer, real, inteligente, disfrutona, estilosa, fuerte y sofisticada.

Harper’s Bazaar magazine arrives in Spanish market and I was waiting for it, as many of you! Although it is still a few days with us, I know that it will stay with me for a long time. In fact, it has already a place on my shelf where I will collect every issue. It arrives to stay and just in the proper moment, during the Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week. Melany, Harper’s Bazaar director, tells us that this magazine is heading for a real, smart, playful, stylish, strong and sophisticated woman (wow!)

Si os gusta el lazo que llevo y queréis uno, tendréis que daros prisa porque quedan pocas unidades. Pertenece a la colección de invierno de La Casita de Wendy , es una pieza que no se ha vendido en España ya que la hicieron para sus clientes en Japón. Yo me quedé prendada de él el día que se lo vi a Brianda en la fiesta del Xperia Pureness by Sony Ericsson, ¡y no he parado hasta consegurilo!

I went to buy Harper’s Bazaar with one of my new garments: this precious red head-ribbon. If you want one, you should run because there are only a few units. It’s made by La Casita de Wendy , and it hasn’t been sold in Spain because they made it for their clients in Japan. I felt in love with it the first time I saw it. It was in the Xperia Pureness by Sony Ericsson party, and Brianda wore it. I haven’t stop until I got one!

Un día relajado..."Perfecto"

Hay días en los que simplemente me apetece salir a pasear, a relajarme y a disfrutar del entorno ¡No todo es shopping en la vida! Para esos días elijo un look sencillo, como el de la foto de abajo: una camiseta de algodón, una cazadora perfecto, unos vaqueros y un bolso bandolera. Cuando encuentro un lugar tranquilo, me encanta sentarme a leer un libro, hojear una revista o escuchar música. Lo malo es que últimamente, cada vez que lo intento comienza a llover y tengo que volver corriendo a casa ;-)

Some days I just like to go for a walk to enjoy the environment. Not everything is shopping in my life! For those kind of days I pick a casual outfit, like in the picture below: a cotton t-shirt,a perfecto jacket, a pair of jeans and a shoulder-bag . When I find the right place, I love to seat down, relax and read a book. Sometimes I just enjoy going through a magazine or listening to music. Lately I am not able to enjoy these kind of days due to the rain that makes me go back home running ;-)

Así se llama la sección en la que he participado en la revista digital ‘Abre el Ojo’. En su artículo ‘Be trendy my friend’ hablan sobre moda y estilo, especialmente de las nuevas tendencias y corrientes actuales, como un fenómeno. Por ejemplo, he descubierto que hablan de mi como una ‘voguete’, alguién que muestra en blogs sus looks diarios, ¡Me encanta esta palabra! Además, dicen que nuestros blogs son una fuente de inspiración. Esta revista es sin duda para mí una verdadera fuente de inspiración. ¡Gracias!

This is the name of the section in which I have been involved in the digital magazine ‘abre el ojo’. In article ‘Be trendy my friend’, they talk about fashion and style, specially new trends and currents nowadays, as a phenomenon. For instance, I’ve discovered they call me ‘voguete’, people who show their daily looks on blogs, I love this new word! Also, they say these blogs are ‘a source of inspiration’… This magazines is truly a real source of inspiration for me. Thanks!

Esta chaqueta de estilo militar también me la compré en rebajas. No debió tener mucho éxito porque es de principio de temporada ;-) Es de lino y eso no ayudo mucho a que se vendiera cuando estábamos a punto de comenzar el frío invierno. I also bought this military jacket in sales. I think it wasn’t a best-seller because it’s from the beginning of the season ;-) It’s made with linen and probably it didn’t help when we were about to start the cold winter… Now it’s here, with me, hanging in my wardrobe. Este vestido de Queen`s Wardrobe fue un auténtico flechazo,¡Un amor a primera vista! Para autoconvencerme me hice algunos esquemas mentales: ¿Me lo pondré con un cardigan y bailarinas para un look mas casual? ¿Con el trench beige y las sandalias de tacón? ¿Con mis peep toes y con un clutch para algún evento especial? ¿Qué os parece? ¿Os gusta? Contadme… ¡Necesito saber qué pensáis!
